Today we are proud to thank our wonderful Community Law Practice volunteers! Our legal volunteers provide support to Neighbors Link's Community Law Practice through Pro Bono Attorney work, consultations, community education clinics, and so much more. We would also like to thank Bard College for our ongoing student-legal interns. Additionally, we are excited for our David Swope Summer Interns to begin this summer, and for the launch of our first high school senior experience legal interns this spring! As Volunteer Appreciation Month winds down, we would like to highlight our Adelante Juntos volunteers! Adelante Juntos is our parent-child together program, where our volunteers engage with children aged 0-4 in a preschool setting while their parents attend Neighbors Link parenting and child development classes. Our volunteers engage with the children, read to them, and participate in circle time and developmental activities to provide them with a head start. We are grateful for our dedicated Adelante Juntos volunteers, who ensure the children are engaged and the program runs smoothly!
