Thank you to our wonderful Learning Links volunteers for all of the work that they do! Our Learning Links volunteers are high schoolers from all over Westchester and surrounding areas. These volunteers come to Mount Kisco Elementary school weekly and provide mentorship, as well as math and reading homework help to our elementary school students. Our Learning Links volunteers provide enriching workshops and activities to share with our students. Thank you!

Nuestros voluntarios de Learning Links son estudiantes de secundaria de todo el condado de Westchester y áreas cercanas. As part of the Golden Door Program, a collaborative support program between Neighbors Link, NYS Office of New Americans and Open Door, we are proud to share “Gira–Sol”, a unique exhibit at Bethany Arts Community showcasing the captivating artwork of local Ossining community members and our patients.

GABBY ROSENFELD BE A HERO AWARD
The Gabby Rosenfeld Be a Hero award will be presented to Luisa Granda-Rodriguez for 20 years of impactful and transformative work at Neighbors Link.

SPECIAL REMEMBRANCE
We will be honoring the legacy and impact of Neighbors Link Board Member and Friend of Neighbors Link Barbara Bruce Jackson (1939 - 2025) and Board Member Ana Muralles Verrino (1975 - 2024).

As Volunteer Appreciation Month continues, we would like to highlight our RISE volunteers. The Readiness thru Integrated Service Engagement (RISE) program from Volunteer New York! connects adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) to nonprofits in the community where they can build skills while volunteering. Our RISE volunteers support Neighbors Link through various activities, including creating decorations for our programs, ensuring the childcare rooms are organized and clean, and assisting us in preparing materials for families. Thank you to Volunteer New York! for this partnership and to our amazing RISE volunteers.

A medida que continúa el Mes de Agradecimiento a los Voluntarios, nos gustaría destacar a nuestros voluntarios de RISE.
