On June 12th, the spirit of The Power of Community was heard loud and clear. It came through in the stories shared, the memories honored, and the generosity extended.

We honored the memory of Ana Muralles Verrino and Barbara Bruce Jackson, whose legacies continue to guide us. The tribute to their leadership was a poignant reminder of the impact one person can have—and the power of standing together.

We recognized Luisa Granda-Rodriguez’s 20 years of transformative work at Neighbors Link with the Gabby Rosenfeld Be a Hero Award. Her decades of service have helped shape Neighbors Link into the organization it is today, and her remarks reminded us of the power each of us has to make an impact in our own community.
