  • Neighbors Link’s Executive Director, Carola Otero Bracco, recently had the opportunity to visit the Texas/Mexico border. Her experiences during this trip highlighted the courage and resilience of people leaving their home countries and families in pursuit of safety. However, it was also a stark reminder of the urgent need for practical and humane reforms to our asylum system. This documentary shares the powerful story of refugee athletes who competed for a place in the 2020 Olympic Games. All tickets include the film screening, post-film panel discussion and reception.
